Last day of vacation

On our last day, we went to the Gulfarium. Granted, it wasn't Sea World, but the girls had fun. We watched a dolphin and a sea lion show, and saw some other marine animals.
On our way back to the condo, the 4 of us ate at The Crab Trap right on the beach! It was good food! Both girls tried raw oysters and gave them a thumbs up!
When we got back, Grammy and Addison went zip lining and then Grammy and Gdad took Addison to get ice cream. I think Addison liked a little one on one time with them. Gigi and I shopped a bit. That night the big kids (Gi and Michael, Grant and me) went and ate at Dewey Destins. It was sooo good! We got home and Luke and Ansley were so cute asleep together! When Ansley saw that picture she said, "where's Grammy?"
Last day of vacation is always a sad day!!! We had a great time on vacation! Thanks Grammy and Gdad!

Worthless on a Wednesday!

We went back to the beach on Wednesday. Again we ran into the people we knew. We hung out and built sandcastles! We went back to the pool for the afternoon. After naps all 9 of us went to eat at McGuires! It was some awesome food!

Vacation Tuesday

After breakfast Tuesday, it became cloudy and rainy. Gi, Michael, and Gaywyn decided to run to the outlets for a bit. It cleared up, so Grant and I decided to take the kiddos to the pool. Everyone joined us when the got back, and even brought a gator back! It got cloudy again so we had to go back to room and eat Popsicles!
Grammy and Gdad had another dinner, and it was kids night in the village so we decided to eat there again. Gi and Michael met some friends that were also in Destin, so we decided to just each Sushi! It was good! Addison and Grant zip lined again this year. I wasn't near as nervous this time! We then ran into some friends who were also tagging along with their parents and took the children to the playground. They had a blast! We then stopped at the candy store, watched the fireworks, and headed back to the room!

Florida Fun

We got to Destin before lunch on Sunday. Gi and Michael went on to the beach to get us chairs rented for the week. The four of us explored the village and then ate with Grammy and Gdad for lunch. We waited forever to get checked in, but we had a good time!
Monday, we ate breakfast and then headed to the beach. The tram took forever so we decided we would drive! We were at Sanddestin Village which is across the street from the beach. The parking at the beach was close and easy though!
We left the beach and stopped at the pool for a bit. We decided to eat in the village since we had 2-3 year olds going with no naps!!!😫😫😫😫we stopped to take a few pictures on our way back!
Gi had left dinner with Luke and we had to get her dinner to go. Luke crashed while waiting and then the poor fellow woke up.

Traveling

We left on June 15th for a FL vacation. Gary had a banking convention and we got to tag along! We drove to Mobile, AL on Saturday, and on in to Destin on Sunday. The girls really were great travelers! We bought Addison an iPod touch before we left as an early bday present. As you can see, she was beyond excited! I didn't wait as long as I intended to, but she has no gaming systems, and I thought we might as well go with that device now instead of buying a DS now and a year later the iPod touch!
Addison played on and listened to the iPod, they watched movies, ate snacks, played with dolls, colored, and did press on nails!
All in all, we had a great trip down there!

Disney Day 6

So 5 months later, I finally finish Disney World! The last morning we woke up to cloudy skies! We had everything pretty much packed so mom, the girls and I went back to the Magic Kingdom to ride a few rides we still had not been on- Small World, Peter Pan... It started pouring down rain on us! We bought Addison a poncho and then just ran from ride to ride. We still had fun and there was NO wait time! We headed back to the resort, and then on the airport. We were so glad we took pictures on our way to the Magic Kingdom...My girls on the final day...

Disney Day 5

Friday was suppose to be our no plan day, but since we kinda took that on Wednesday, we went to the Animal Kingdom instead. We had breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's. This was one of our favorite character meals! The characters spent a lot of time at each table, and the food was great!

So 2 of my favorite things are dressing my girls alike, and shopping at Gymboree! I bought the shirts the girls are wearing late in the summer for them to wear to the Animal Kingdom! I thought they were too cute! They both had giraffes on them.

We didn't take a lot of pictures at the Animal kingdom, but we had a fun day! The Christmas tree out front was neat- the decorations were all animal themed.

We watched the Lion King show...
We were getting ready to leave, and I asked about where we could find Pocahontas. She was at another section of the park where you had to ride a train to get there. We couldn't miss the chance so I strapped Ansley in the Moby Wrap, and away we all went. It was worth it! Addison was so excited to meet Pocahontas!


We were pretty pooped when we got back to the resort. We did a little packing, and then Grant and I took a cab into town, did a little outlet mall shopping, and went to eat at Charlie's- an awesome steakhouse.
