Ansley's 2nd Birthday party

Ansley Sue is 2!  We celebrated Ansley's birthday in April at our house.  I used the Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle as a theme base.  I was really pleased with how it turned out.  My camera died, so some picts are from Anna's phone!
Ansley got into one of the ice cream cake pops when no one was looking!   Oh well, it was her party!

Here are some pictures of the food table.  I bought the printables from an Etsy store here.  It made food planning easy just using the foods from the book!

Here was her cupcake cake!  I thought it turned out so cute!

It was a little cool initially, but we were able to go outside.  We went on a bug hunt and they all enjoyed it!  We also borrowed Luke's jump house which they all enjoyed!

Addison, Grace, and Olivia read the book.

Here is the only good picture of her outfit!  It was precious!  It was an Eric Carle fabric and the skirt had all the foods on it.  I got it off of Etsy, too.

Overall, I think her party was fun!  We had mainly family, and a few close friends come.  I think she felt special!

Here was the invitation:

I decorated the entryway with the bug holders and treat bags in the back (treat bags had a watermelon slice sucker, butterfly snack, bubbles, play bugs), Ansley's finger print caterpillar, and a welcome sign.

First Tooth and Easter

Addison lost her first tooth!  It hung on by threads for days, but she would not let us pull it.  It finally fell out while we were at the doctor.  She was pretty pumped about the tooth fairy coming!

The girls enjoyed getting their Easter baskets this year!  I continued with the swimsuit tradition!  Addison even sported sponge rollers for Easter Sunday!  I guess I didn't get pictures once we were dressed! We drove to Murfreesboro for church because Kane was baptized.  I am so proud of the young man he is becoming!

Ansley had to show her daddy her Minnie Mouse bowl!

I can't believe that bunny brought candy!
