Last lunch date

We met Grant for lunch at Purple Cow for our last lunch date of the summer!

Splash Time!

Benton opened a free splash pad. We had to try it out, and the girls had fun!

The YURT experience!

For Father's Day, we gave Grant a weekend in a YURT. I booked if for the first of August. Some friends of ours have a camper and decided to come along! It was definitely an experience, but we aren't sure we are camping people! Addison almost cried when she realized we weren't going to have a bathroom in the YURT!
They did a nature hunt at our YURT site...

Here is the inside of the YURT.  Yes, I had makeup and we brought our Keurig!

We went on a hike to a waterfall...

There was even a playground at the campground!

Meet Bella

We dog sat Jingle Bells for my friend Holly earlier in July. We loved her. She was such a good dog, and we were sad for her to leave! Holly offered to give us Bells a few weeks later! Grant and I decided she was a perfect fit for our family! We surprised the girls and they were beyond thrilled!!! We eventually started calling her Bella!!!

The Pampered Life!

Mom came and helped with the party. We split the girls into 2 groups. One group played spin the nail polish, and the other received pedicures! They had fun!

Spa Party Time!

Addison had wanted a sleepover party for a long time, so for her 7th B-day, we decided to have one!  She wanted to do "spa things" so we went with that theme.I bought the printables from Etsy, here
Sign on the front door on a wreath welcoming everyone....
I set up the food table and a table for the girls in the dining room.
I ended up finding the paper products at The Dollar Tree.  I had bought some at Target, but took them back for the less expensive ones! Here is the food table when the girls arrived.  We ordered pizza, but the favorite was the chocolate fountain!  We had cupcakes, cake, and fruit and pretzels for the fountain.
Addison's cake was precious!  Sanctified Cakes did an awesome job!
 Cupcakes...

The goodie bags...Most things were received during the party...flip flops for a project, an eye mask, and a bottle of nail polish.
There were 7 girls.  I limited the number invited, and it worked great!
Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl!
 Putting ribbons on flip flops!
Dress up for a photo booth!
 Gift Time!
The next morning, the girls decorated a pillow case for Addison to keep!
 Breakfast time...
 Sweet Girls!
I've got more pictures of the party activities to come!  I think they all had a great time!

7 year old celebration

We have a 7 year old. I can't believe it! Addison's birthday was July 13. She wanted to go to Magic Springs, so the 4 of us spent the day there! We had a blast! The girls both love rides and water, and I love that Magic Springs has both!
We left MS and had dinner at The Purple Cow. Addison couldn't wait for them to sing to her! She had a perfect day, and we enjoyed celebrating 7 years with her!
