Easter 2011

We have a tradition of going somewhere for brunch on Easter. This year, we went to the Cappricio Grill at The Peabody. When we got there and got seated, it was time for the ducks to come out. The girls and I went to watch them, and my camera battery died! These pictures were taken with my phone.

Grant and Addison after brunch!

My picts are a little out of order...Addison got up first and wanted to see what the Easter bunny brought her!
Holding up her movie! The bunny kept with his tradition and brought both girls swimsuits!

Ansley got up a little later, and even managed to get dressed before seeing her Easter basket!

When we got back from brunch, we died eggs.

We then spent the afternoon outside enjoying each other and the beautiful day. We are so thankful for Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross.

Seek First HIS Kingdom

Ansley Sue was dedicated to the Lord the Saturday before Mother's Day.

She became quite the handful while patiently waiting on the other children! She jerked her bow/headband out and handed it to her daddy!

We were asked to choose a verse for Ansley. We chose Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Ansley, we want you to seek God's will in your life. There will be times that you have to make hard decisions. Trust in God to lead you in the direction he has planned for you. As much as we love you, we know God loves you even more!

Mother's Day

We went to Murfreesboro for Mother's Day this year. We went to church with my mom, and then went over to Granny's house. We took some pictures before anyone else got there.

Going dancing!

Addison took dance this year and really enjoyed it. She was a little nervous about performing on stage during the recital, but she did great! The recital was in May. I'm determined to get our life blogged even if I'm 3 months behind!

Some of my favorites...

These are some of my favorite pictures from this Spring...

Love seeing my girls play side by side, even if neither has on bottoms!

My sweet big girl. Addison has enjoyed riding her bike, but doesn't really like it when her legs hurt, or if she gets to going too fast! She will park her bike halfway down the hill right by our house. She's never made it around the block!

Ansley loves being outside! She has taken over Addison's 'bus', and before she started walking, she loved being pushed around outside.

Addison decided to get her hair cut this spring! I was hesitant, but she really wanted to do it! I love it, but I thought it made her look older!

Grant and I have learned that marriage is hard...but also wonderful. We have enjoyed having date nights on Monday nights when one of our moms was here. We visited Sakura's the most frequently for sushi!

Ansley loves bath time in the big tub!

Sweet smiles with her birthday bow on!

Addison doing some posing!

Jail Birds!
