Since Grant was in Waco, the girls and I left Saturday and drove to Waco. We were so happy to see him! it had been a week! We ate at Buzzard Bills the first night. The girls were able to feed ducks from the deck where we ate. On Sunday, we met my cousin Allison and her fiancé Allen for breakfast and church. We drove around looking at houses, then went back to the hotel. Grant swam with the girls while I did his laundry.
On Monday, we left daddy, our real Knight, to head to Dallas to meet Mom, Anna, and Kane to go to Medieval Times. Both Addison and Ansley loved it! They got into cheering for our Knight of the night. Ansley got upset though and said they were being mean!
We had a blast being together and watching the show!
Oh and Ansley said we were cheering for Jesus. The only reason why I could think of is they were calling the king lord! That funny girl!
Besides the fact that Grant was miserable, and we were praying for guidance, we were enjoying spring break!

Squirm
Addison's class had their musical last Thursday. Each 1st grade class was something that makes you squirm- bats, spiders, snakes, and worms! Addison's class was the worms. She had a speaking part and was an earthworm! She did an awesome job! It was a very hard costume to come up with though!
Addison was excited that Grammy and G-Dad, and Nana were there to watch!

When Daddy is away...
Grant has been out of town and we are making the best of it! Grant started reading to the girls via FaceTime. They love it!
We've eaten treats at Lemon Tree and done a little shopping. Ansley decided to cool off by pulling her pants down in the middle of Target!
These girls are awesome and I'm so glad they are my babies!

My Valentines
Happy Valentine's Day! We've had a great time celebrating today! We actually started last night with me giving Grant and the girls their surprises and Grant coming home with a rose for all 3 of us!
I helped do Addison's party and I think it went well! She said she had fun! Ansley had a good little party at her school, too! I am so happy with both girls' schools.
We had fun doing Valentines this year. Addison gave pop rocks with a label they said 'you rock valentine.' Ansley gave Teddy Grahams that said 'bear hugs!' Both turned out cute! We gave each of their teachers a cup filled with candy.
I got a persona bracelet from Grant and the girls! I'm so excited! I look forward to filling it with meaningful beads. Grant picked a pink swirl bead for the first because 'it was pretty.' 😊
Holidays are so fun with the girls. My heart explodes with love for them. I've thought a lot of God's love this week, too. We had a wonderful Sunday School lesson on Valentine's day that involved relating conversation heart messages to the Bible. It was a great reminder of God's love, True love, unconditional love!

Tell Me the Story...
Addison has been asking me to tell her the story of when she was born for a few years. Every once in a while she will ask to hear it. Well, the other night when I was lying down with Ansley, she said, "mom, tell me story when I was in your tummy!" Precious! I love telling her the story. She also loves to look at our blog and see when she "was a baby and was borned'. I am so thankful to have this blog to look back and see pictures and remember stories. The days are passing by so fast. I cherish our memories and look forward to making new ones.
