Carroll Christmas

The Saturday before Christmas we went to Murfreesboro.  We celebrated Christmas with my aunt and her family.  I didn't take any pictures!  This was our first Christmas without Granny Sue.  We all missed her, but we enjoyed time together.  Aunt Margaret continued the tradition of giving us a planner!  Allison came with her new fiance, and Tommy and his wife Celina were there.  They are expecting a baby girl this Spring.

After they left we opened Christmas presents with my immediate family.  Again, I didn't take many pictures!  It's too hard to enjoy the girls and take pictures, but I did get a few!

Dad always cooks the girls chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.  We got him some chocolate chips, and an oven mitt with the girl's hand prints and it says "Daddy Dick's helping hands."  We made one for G-Dad, too, but I didn't get a picture.
Anna bought the girls panties for Christmas.  Ansley opened her and put all 7 pairs on!  Daddy Dick had to help her take them off!

Sunday morning we all went to church.  We were able to take some pictures when we got home.  Addison ended up with my camera, and took some great pictures!

Christmas Festivities!

The girls both had Christmas parties at school.  I helped with Addison's school party, so I didn't take any picts during the party!  It was an Elf party and was super fun and super cute!
Addison with her teacher...we LOVE her!

Addison attended a Christmas cookie exchange party.  We made Rudolph cookies.  The girls had so much fun!!!
The girls got to fill their boxes, and then enjoy some on the spot!

Ansley enjoyed her little party at school!
She loved opening her present and finding the candy!

Ansley and her teacher.  I think Ms. Leslie spoils Ansley at school!

Our church Christmas pageant was beautiful!  The children did an amazing job telling the Christmas Story, and leading the audience in Christmas Hymns.

Christmas at the Cabin

We celebrated Christmas with the Golden's during a weekend at the cabin.  The cousins had a blast playing together!

2 little monkeys jumping on the bed!  Gaywyn had a blow up bed in their bedroom.  I'm not sure how much sleep any of them got, but they had fun sleeping together!
Gaywyn bought the kiddos matching pjs!
Drip Drop and Clark followed us to the cabin.  They were ziplining through the living room!  The second night they played dominoes!  So fun!

We enjoyed out weekend with Gaywyn and Gary, Gi, Michael aka Shug, and Luke!  We received some awesome presents, but most importantly, we enjoyed our family time!

Santa Came to Town

Santa comes to the courthouse in Benton on Tuesday and Thursday nights during December.  We went on December 13.  They serve hot chocolate and cookies, and there is live entertainment while you wait.  They take pictures and post them on their website.  It's all free!

The lights were beautiful!
Ansley, of course, had to see baby Jesus.
Grant and I took turns standing in line and walking around with girls.

We finally got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Ansley did not want to sit in his lap, but I finally convinced her to stand beside Addison!
This was such a fun family outing!  We love walking around looking at the scenes, and enjoying the lights!

He's Baaaaack!

Drip Drop, our elf, showed up! He had the book with him the 1st night. He has brought powdered donuts and the Elf movie, got into a box of donuts, and gone fishing for Sparkle! Ans was not happy about that and knocked Drip Drop away from Sparkle! GASP! Thankfully Santa gave him some extra magical power since he would be in the house with a 2 year old!

The Nutcracker

Addison and I went to see The Nutcracker at Robinson on Sunday. We enjoyed it, but were tired and hungry at the end!

A jolly time at Jolly Time!

On Thursday, Addison had her Preschool Christmas Party. I switched my days this week so I could go and help at the party and then Addison could come home with me afterwards. I had an ornament party at the house that night so it helped not working to prepare for it, too!

They had several activity stations set up at the party. They made reindeer food...

Decorated sugar cookies...

And made reindeer antlers!

Then they ate! You should have seen the spread that was set up for 3 year olds! We had fun! Addison loves going to Jolly Time!

Christmas Parade

The Christmas parade was held this week. We went and ate pizza, then went to the church to watch the parade. We bundled up, but still we froze!

I tried to take a picture of us, but Addison looks like an Eskimo!

Grant took this one! We were sitting on a blanket, trying to stay warm, wishing we had another blanket to cover us!

The court house was lit up before the parade began

Addison loved the little ponies!

Finally, Santa Clause!
