And Baby Makes THREE...

GIRLS for our house!!! We had an ultrasound appointment on Thursday, and got to see our baby. Everything looked great, and we found out she was going to be a girl! We are thrilled. If you had asked me, I probably would have said it was going to be a boy. I think everyone else (besides Addison) thought it was a boy, therefore convincing me. But, every since we had Addison, I could just see us with two girls. This may explain the next 2 pictures...

I bought this tutu a couple of months ago, because it was just too cute!

When we were in Branson this summer, I bought this sweet little outfit to match Addison's that I bought for next summer! I thought with both I could give as gifts if I needed to, but I am so glad we will get to use them!!

Here is Addison looking at pictures of her soon to be baby sister!

Here is Addison showing Granny Sue the ultrasound picture and telling her that the baby will be named after her...Ansley Sue!

Thursday, Addison and I went to Murfreesboro for my Aunt Susan's 50th birthday. Happy Birthday Aunt Susan! Addison also told me we were naming Ansley Sue after Aunt Susan! That is fine by me! We love you!

Branson Trip

This weekend we went to Branson and stayed with Grant's parents at the Hilton Convention Center Hotel. This was a last minute trip, but we had a lot of fun! Branson has really changed from when I use to go with my grandparents years ago. Grant and I have gone several times since we've been married to shop! Now that they have Branson Landing it is even nicer to go there.

Some of these picts are looking funky on here! Sorry-don't know what happened!

On Friday when we got there, Grant, Addison, and I hung out at Branson Landon and did some shopping. Gaywyn and Gary had a dinner to go to but first they went with us to the Bass Pro Shop to see the huge aquarium. G Dad then gave Addison some money so shopping we went!

There is a fire and water show every hour on the hour that was fun to watch! We ate Mexican food and sat outside on the patio. The weather was perfect.

On Saturday morning, Gary had to go to meetings, but Gaywyn, Grant, Addison and I went and rode on the Branson Scenic Railroad.

On Friday we found a pirate ship play area. Addison had fun playing here and so we went back on Saturday night.

We did a lot of shopping on Friday, but then on Saturday, Addison, Gaywyn and Gary napped while Grant and I went to the outlet mall. I bought some jeans (yay!) and grant got some shirts. I then had to buy Addison a couple of more outfits.

Some of the new clothes. Grammy bought the purple and navy outfit for Addison. We tried to get comfy pieces for school. I was really pleased with our purchases. Addison is set- please help remind me I said this. She does not need any more clothes! The light blue outfit is from Strasburg. I love their stuff, but Grant says it looks like something they would wear on Little House on the Prairie. I found this outfit and just thought it was too sweet. She will be able to wear it next year, too!
We had a fun trip but it is always nice to come home.

And when we got home, I was reminded why 3-year olds still need mommy to dress them...

Styling!

Breaking the Budget...

One of the new outfits...

The new casual shoe...

Grant and I have set up a budget several times in the past. We usually just stick with it for a month. This is our 5th ? week now on our budget and I am obsessed with it! It is like a game for me! I am now clipping coupons, separating cash into envelopes, planning our meals, and adding as I go at Wal-Mart! The hardest thing has been (NOT) buying clothes for Addison, but I have found ways to manipulate the system- my own system! HA! But budgets can be broken occasionally, right? Like today- Addison and I went to LR. I cashed in some miles on our Discover card and got some Children's Place gift cards. I also had a coupon to Gymboree so we went there, too-had to earn some gymbucks! We then went to Shoe Connection because I wanted to get Addison some Maryjane Keds for spring. They had an awesome sale going on. I REALLY needed new boots. My brown boots were so bad I threw them away, and my black ones are close to visiting the brown ones in the trash! I thought I would get a brown pair at an awesome price of 25 bucks. But I would actually save money if I went ahead and got the black ones, too, instead of paying full price in the fall, right? So I did. Then they have the cutest bows there and at $5 a piece- what a deal! So...I broke the budget a little today. But girls have to have shoes! and bows!

My next plan to break the budget is going to entail me buying a reader for my memory stick so I can post some picts! Addison had so much fun tonight trying on her new clothes for her daddy. We would put on an outfit and she would run into the living room saying, "look daddy, look!" She was too cute! Wish I had of taken some picts!
Do any of you have any pointers or suggestions for budgeting? How do you make it work? I am amazed at how much money I am able to save!
