This weekend was a toughy! My sweet Granny Sue left this world to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday morning around 11:00, just in time for church. Hopefully, I can get a post up about this wonderful lady later!
My children were wonderful this weekend. I am so proud of their behavior and they way they adapted to the craziness of the weekend- even though Ans had a rough night last night and we didn't get any sleep!
I discussed my Ansley with so many people, and heard the comment- "she's full of spirit" quite a bit. I love my Ans. I pray for God guidance in raising that precious child. I happen to run across this blog tonight from another blog that I read. I thought it really hit home. The toddler years and preschool days...and tween stages...and adolescence can all make you question yourself as a parent. The important thing is though that you are raising a God following adult! :)

Yes, when your first child is easy & obedient, you (and I) can think we've done such a great job of being a parent. When the second one isn't as easy, we learn that we weren't totally responsible for how "good" the first one was or how "challenging" the second one is. I find solace in the thought that maybe Lydia won't give in to peer pressure, that she'll continue to make her own decisions.
I know this is so very late, but I'm so sorry about your Granny.
I cannot believe how big the girls are!!! Where does the time go?
As far as the parenting, I feel your pain. I need to check out the link.
