Family Beach Pictures

We just got back from Destin.  Grammy and G-Dad have allowed us to tag along the past 2 years.  Gary has a bank convention and we play and have fun! We had pictures made on the beach one night, and I've just uploaded the ones I took with my camera, so I thought I would go ahead and post them.  We had so much fun! Other vacation posts to follow!

 Luke and Anlsey had so much fun playing together!  Her they were running from the waves! 

 We tried to get a picture of the 3 of us.  It just wasn't happening so we decided to have a little fun instead! 

 Ansley fell in the water, and wanted her dress off.  I laughed and said, this is real world.  You normally don't see this in pictures!

Swim like a fish

Addison decided to participate with the Saline County swim team this summer! She was able to participate in the first meet. She was very overwhelmed at first but did a great job! I'm so very proud of her for giving this a shot! She is such a brave girl. I hope she will always try new things. She has practice several times a week, and she has made so much progress. The first meet, she did 2 events-kickboard and freestyle. Freestyle was first, and she really didn't know what to expect. She got out there and gave her best! What an accomplishment! When kickboard came around, she was more into the racing part! She understood that it was a race! She did great! We had a great time, she's made a ton of progress swimming, and she was so proud of herself! I'm pretty proud of my little fish, too!

Summer

I love summertime! We have already been checking some things off our bucket list for the summer... Riverfest concert with friends, anniversary trip, new school for girls, s'mores, snow cones, war memorial splash park and zoo!

End of the school year

Addison had a busy end to the school year! She had water day at school and a field trip to the Crystal Mines.
Ansley had her last day at Park Place Preschool! We had an awesome experience there and Ansley loved Ms. Leslie!

They said, I do!

My cousin Allison got married on may 18th. Addison was a flower girl, and was so excited! Mom and I left on Friday morning and drove to Waco. Grant and dad planned on coming, but Grant had work stuff come up and couldn't make it.
The wedding was beautiful, and Allison was a beautiful bride! The reception was fun! The girls anxiously waited for the 1st dances to be done so they could boogy!

Addison is such a great big sister! She read to Ansley at nap time while we were gone!

Outings!

Addison didn't take dance this year, but she and I went to the recital at Robinson. It was a great show! Afterwards, we decided to get dessert at Ashley's at the Capital Hotel. She loved being in a fancy place!

Local Lime opened and we decided to meet there one week night. Addison took a picture of herself in a mirror. She then proceeded to get deathly ill for 15 minutes. She spent some time in the bathroom, and then felt fine to eat dinner! So goes the drama of girls! Addison rode home with Grant, and Ansley decided she wanted me to take pictures of her!

Final April Days

April ended with caterpillars, pigtails, my birthday, and Disney on Ice!
Addison and Ansley loved looking for caterpillars! I couldn't believe how they both let the caterpillars crawl all over them!
Ansley told me one day, she wanted her hair like 'this' and she pulled up hair on each side! so cute!
Grant was on a work trip and got home late on my birthday. The girls and I got pizza and had a carpet picnic for my birthday dinner! It was perfect.
We had a blast at Disney on Ice on April 27! Ansley really got into seeing the princesses and of course, they loved the sugary treats there!
