Oh what a feeling!

Life has been a whirlwind! Christmas activities, school, work, a last minute trip to Georgia to find a house because we thought we were moving! Crazy! I took the picture of Grant below while we were eating lunch in Carrollton, GA, trying to decide if Grant should take the job.
We aren't moving... I can say that with a feeling of peace. It has been up and down and us not going is probably the most stupid (yes, Addison, mom said stupid) business decision we have ever made. Grant turned down a great job, awesome sign on bonus, relocation bonus, and yearly bonus, in a neat town. Why? Because it didn't feel right. God has a plan for our life. We are trying to seek His will. We don't know His plans for us, but we know He is in control. We know our little family means the world to us. We know that we are more in love with each other than ever. We are so thankful that we are in it together.

I'm really struggling with motherhood now. Trying to fill all the roles is exhausting and right now I wonder if I'm doing any of it right. Through this decision, I've come to realize that the thing I want more than anything is to be there for my girls. They are what is important. This has helped me make some hard decisions about my work.

So, now I'm going to finally put the last ornaments on my tree, fold some laundry, maybe wrap a few presents, and then I'm going to go to my bed where 2 precious angels are sleeping. Not because its the right thing to let your children in your bed, but because in my heart, it FEELS right.
